We provide a zip file with New Zealand fur seal marking, measurement, and population estimate data from the three monitored West Coast colonies, along with supporting material. The zip file includes:

1. A README in html format,
2. The tagging data as a comma separated values file, suitable for loading into Excel,
3. All the updates performed on the tagging data as a comma separated values file,
4. The mark-recapture counts as a comma separated values file,
5. The dead counts as a comma separated values file,
6. The resightings as a comma separated values file (only from 2016 onwards),
7. Details of the Creative Commmons Attribution 3.0 NZ licence.

Licence

Data are made available for reuse by the Department of Conservation, under a creative commons attribution licence, following the recommendations of NZGOAL. This licence allows the data to be used for any other purpose and republished, provided only that attribution is given to the source. At the bottom of each page, a citation is given with a preferred format for referencing the data. Creative commons images have also been used on the site. These may also be reused, subject to the conditions of the original licence.
